What is Microblading?
Microblading is a cosmetic tattooing treatment, typically lasting 1-3 years, depending on skin type and skincare routine. The procedure is done using a hand tool with ultra fine needles that is dipped in pigment and each "hair" is gently etched into the skin, giving a hyper realistic look. Microblading is excellent for those wanting to enhance their brows or who have little to no eyebrows, over tweezed brows or thinning brows from age. Pigments used are chosen to match the natural or desired brow color, skin tone will also be taken into consideration.
What are the benefits?
Provide fuller brows while still remaining natural looking
Reduces time spent filling in brows daily.
Brows are waterproof and sweat proof.
Who is a candidate for microblading?
Those with over plucked eyebrows.
Those suffering from hair loss due to a medical condition.
Those who have difficulty applying makeup
Those who are in a rush and don’t have time to always apply makeup.
Do I need a touch up?
Your touchup after 6-8 weeks is included in the initial cost, at this appointment we will work on any areas where microblading strokes may have faded or rejected pigment.
Does it hurt?
The sensation of microblading is said to be similar to that of tweezing eyebrows, anesthetic will be used after the first pass, so the beginning of the appointment can be somewhat painful depending on your pain tolerance.
Note if you are on your menstrual cycle you may be more sensitive to pain.
Do I get to choose the color?
The color is determined by your color preference, natural hair color and skin tone.
I already have permanent makeup and want to change the shape or color. Can you help?
Depending on how your permanent makeup looks and how much it has faded, you may be able to have your brows microbladed,
however you will need to send a picture by email so we can see how your brows look currently. Pictures can be sent to Browhemianstudio@gmail.com
How old do you have to be?
You must be 18 years of age or older to be tattooed at Browhemian Cosmetic Studio.
